The Wedding

After many days of baking, folding, stamping, and painting, we had our wedding. . . and it was wonderful! We learned much about having a thoughtful and unique celebration on a shoestring and I can't wait to share some tips. . .

From top:
Hahn Park, chalkboard "guest book", hanging votives, champagne flutes with name tags, Oregon Chai Cookies (from Ian's home state) and New Mexico Piñon Coffee (from my home state), Mexican Chocolate and Applesauce Spice cupcakes, luminarias, tissue pom poms, wedding pumpkin, the newlyweds

  1. Wow, that was fast! How long were you engaged?

Congratulations... or good luck (I can't remember which one you say to the bride)!

  2. 5 weeks? We wanted to get married before the holidays and before our trip to Japan in the spring!

  3. That's wonderful! No need in being engaged for a year once you know you want to get married! If I ever do it, I want to do it your way! Congrats again!
