Every year, the holidays roll around and no matter what you believe, I think most can agree: reminders of good things are everywhere. For some it's the traditions, for others the twinkling lights, for most the excitement of the new year and hopefully, for each and every one of us, there is something that has made the world a bit more happy. For me, it is the simple things that come in the winter: the solstice and the days becoming longer again, sitting with my family and watching Love Actually, and making gingerbread. Hey, it may not be your cup of tea, but shouldn't we all celebrate what makes our lives good?
