commissioning The Impossible Project to develop and produce a limited
edition of Polaroid® branded Instant Films in the middle of 2010."

Starting October 16 in celebration of the big news, Polapremium will be selling Celebration editions of the unique SX-70 camera in a very limited special batch of only 8 leather kits containing:
  • one original SX-70 camera
  • two original SX-70 film packs (collectible - ancient, not tested.)
  • one flash bar
  • one copy of the Polaroid book "Sofortbilder ohne Probleme"
  • one picture frame
  • one Polapremium CD with original SX-70 materials (manuals, articles, tips&tricks)

Impossible!

Starting tomorrow, Space 15 Twenty will open the EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE: A Polaroid Group Show to celebrate the global launch of the Urban Outfitters and The Impossible Project campaign to save the Polaroid.

In conjunction, UO will also be releasing special edition Polaroid film and camera kits. The mission of The Impossible Project is to reinvent and restart production of instant film by 2010 after existing factories were officially shut in 2008.

The exhibition features work from Alana Celii, Ali Bosworth, Andrew Post, Arthur Ou, Brad Troemel, Cass Bird, Charlie Engman, Dusdin Condren, Hasisi Park, Jackson Eaton, Jason Rosenberg, Jessica Williams, Kava Gorna, Leon Batchelor, Lina Scheynius, Madi Ju, Marcelo Gomes, Margaret Durow, Mark Borthwick, Michael Hemy, Mikaylah Bowman, Mordechai Rubinstein, Nicholas Gottlund, Nicole Lesser, Peter Zachary Voelker, Serge Leblon, Sylvain-Emmanuel Prieur, Vava Ribeiro, Wai Lin Tse and Ye Rin Mok.
